1. Data collected
Orendy does not collect any personally identifiable data by default. No account, no tracking, no automatic sign-up. Data created (cards, folders, progress) is stored solely on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your iCloud account encrypted by Apple.
2. iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud, your data is stored in your personal account, encrypted and managed by Apple. Orendy has no access to this data and you can disable sync at any time.
3. Built-in contact form
Use of the form is optional. No mandatory field requires personal information. Messages are transmitted via a secure server in Switzerland, without retention of metadata.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Orendy does not use any cookies, trackers or similar technologies in the app. All data remains on your device and, if enabled, in iCloud.
5. Data security
Local data is protected by your device’s security mechanisms (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode). iCloud data is encrypted and protected by Apple. No transfer to uncontrolled third-party servers.

Local data exists as long as the app is installed. iCloud data persists as long as sync is enabled. Contact messages are retained only for as long as necessary to process them.
7. User rights (GDPR and equivalents)
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. Since no data is collected by default, these rights apply only to information voluntarily shared via the contact form.

California users have the rights provided by the CCPA: deletion of information voluntarily submitted, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of data (no data is sold).

iCloud data may be transferred by Apple in accordance with its privacy policy. Orendy does not make any direct transfers to third countries.

Orendy is not intended for children under 13. No data concerning children is knowingly collected.
